    • Australian CensusAtSchool
      ‘CensusAtSchool is a non compulsory education project brought to you by the Australian Bureau of Statistics [ABS]. It is a Free Internet based data collection and analysis project. Students respond to questions of interest about themselves by completing the CensusAtSchool online questionnaire. The questionnaire response data is then released back to teachers and students providing real, relevant data, for use with the supporting activities across the curriculum in all states and territories.’

      Covers a number of suitable sites especially for senior secondary students. Access past Higher School Certificate papers and syllabus.

      A mathematical program which can be done online or by purchasing a CD Rom version. Operates at primary and secondary levels. Fee-based.

    • Mathletics
      ‘Mathletics is Australia’s most used educational website ! It is the next generation in learning, helping students enjoy maths and improve their results. Mathletics covers the full Kindergarten to Year 12 curriculum. Less than $2 per week.’
    • Maths Dictionary for Kids 2007, A
      An extensive alphabetical mathematics dictionary for all levels. Has both descriptor and graphic for each word/phrase that is selected. Runs from ‘Abacus’ to ‘Zero’.

    • Mathslessons.com
      ‘Launched in mid 2007, our goal is to make it easier for people who are looking for math lessons to find what’s available and fits them best in their area. We plan to keep ad posting free and offer optional “extra” fee based services.’ Just beginning, but related sites [e.g. Tennislessons.com] seem to be going well, and this may be worth visiting again to see how it progresses in the future.

      A collection of links compiled by the Country Area Program in NSW. Their 2005 site is also accessible.

      The links are described as for fun, homework & help. They are clearly annotated and include links to a variety of sites at different levels, some of which have already been included on this web site.
