      Links to explorers and explorations from Ancient civilisations to James Cook. Includes areas not commonly covered : Polynesia, Arabic exploration and related sections.

      [Discovering New Horizons]
      A Thinkquest site. Great explorers wend their way to new places. Information on why and work on the results. Very interactive. Allows teachers to follow student progress.
