The White Australia Policy The White Australia Policy was seen as the result of laws and methodology
used to limit migration into Australia of people who were seen as not being desirable, often on racial grounds. Within the
process, a range of methods were used. It was gradually dismantled following World War 2 and effectively removed by 1973.
