What will be your main content areas?

The original site "BOOK FINDER" was developed during Term 1, 2001 and contained the following areas:

Book Week 2001; Choosing Books; Fiction Favourites; Amazing Authors; Rave Reviews; and Sensational Series.

The BOOK FINDER site was trialled and received positive response Encouraged by this response I found I wanted to add teacher resources and I wanted more opportunities for student interaction and participation. This caused issues with the existing navigation. This resulted in considerable reorganisation of the site with three of the original areas on authors; series and student reviews being subsumed by the Fiction Favourites section and new areas for teachers and recreational activities being added. The new KIDZ BOOK ZONE was born!

The KIDZ BOOK ZONE has 5 main areas

What other categories of information will you provide?

How will the content be organised ?

The "BOOK FINDER" content was mapped simply and a trial site was developed during term 1.

To assist with content organisation and navigation design of the KIDZ BOOK ZONE site a graphic overview was developed using Inspiration.

This was refined and a text version Site Map was also developed.

How often are you going to update your Web site?

I plan to update it once per term.
