In 2000 we celebrated Book Week with a visit from Chris Cheng, author of One Child.

Before his visit Chris corresponded with Year 3R by email from the USA.

The Year 3 children also established some new gardens in response to the book which had a strong environmental message and focussed on the power of the individual to make a difference.
During Chris Cheng's visit the "Baulko Chatters" joined Chris in an online chat with other students from around Australia
