It is intended to support the promotion of quality children's literature and to foster students' independent reading habits.
I am also a firm believer in the notion that in choosing a good movie or film, we frequently make choices based on recommendations of friends and acquaintances. Thus the site is also designed to engage students in peer referral via published reviews.
In addition, it's function is to supplement the availability of the teacher librarian in a very busy library, where the TL does not always have the opportunity to meet with classes to promote literature on their weekly visits.

How are you going to keep your Web site fresh? Interactive elements such as the reviews; Puzzles etc invite students to submit content each term. The Book Week section however will probably be updated only once annually.
