Catching Literature in the Net - PEN 117 Primary English teachers Association (PETA) article available online. It discusses using the Internet to assist teachers and children to enjoy reading all a full range of texts and in all varieties of contexts. A Book Rap is a book discussion conducted via electronic mail. Individuals or groups of students from across the country or around the world can discuss the scheduled books. The Book Rap site is coordinated by Oz Teacher Net. This site coordinated by Barbara Braxton (Teacher Librarian Extraordinaire) is designed to enrich and enhance your students' literacy development by using Information Technology to unite students across Australia in celebrating the joy of reading.
