TASK #2 - Web Publishing
I 2 Relates an understanding of the common ways information is used, processed and transmitted to the use of various techniques to gather, send, receive, store and transmit information and create information products.
I 3 Considers the needs of the particular audience when selecting and using appropriate techniques, resources and equipment to create information products using sound, images and text.
I 4 Understands that the meaning audiences make of information is influenced by its form, structure, style and presentation; and applies this understanding to the creation of information products and processes, using recognised methods, rules and languages.
The World Wide Web has become very popular medium for people to send, receive, store and transmit information. Companies are able to show their information for an inexpensive price and have people from all over the world view it; universities and schools can provide educational information for people in remote areas or just to the other side of the school. The amount of available information on the World Wide Web is phenomenal.
Description of the Task
Part A
You will need to research various web pages and record some of the features that they have. It will be profitable to find travel agency web pages and note if there is a common format that they use.
Part B
For this part of the Task you need to design a Web Site for your travel agency. The site should include your opening specials and locations that people can travel to. Make sure that you are using the information that you found in Part A to design your page.

Note: Although you are not being tested on the "Technology Process" you will need to follow the design, make, market and appraise cycle when creating your site.
