How to Change Text:

Word processors in Windows are "What You See Is What You Get" (WYSIWYG) packages. You can see on screen exactly the way it will print out.

The "Format" menu can be used as outlined below to produce different types of printing and to make your finished document look very attractive.

Steps in Changing Text:

STEP 1 - Select the text to be changed by 'dragging' the mouse over some text.

(the text should be ‘highlighted’)

STEP 2 - Select the "Format" menu.

STEP 3 - Choose the "Font", "Size" and "Style" you want. Experiment with a number of combinations to find the ones you prefer.

Shortcut … Select your text as per STEP 1 and then change font and size using the ‘drop boxes’ at the top left of the screen.

The Task:

(2) Save your work to your Data Disk as a file called: "EXER2"

(3) Print out a copy of the document, add a COVER sheet and submit the completed exercise to your teacher for marking.

NOTE: Remember to include a header and footer. Ask your teacher if you do not know how.
