One of the most effective ways to gain attention or explain a problem is to use graphics. As this unit progresses you will need to insert graphics into your documents for these reasons.

STEP 1: - Select the "Insert" menu. Go down to "Picture"

STEP 2: - Select "clip art".

STEP 3: - Choose the clip art image you wish to use.

STEP 4: - Click the Insert button.

STEP 1: - Open Paint from the start menu

STEP 2: - Draw the image you want in your poster

STEP 3: - Use the select tool click and drag over your image to select it.

STEP 4: - Go up to "Edit" on the menu bar and select "copy".

STEP 5: - Return to you Word document and go up to "Edit" and select "Paste".

For this essential you are required to design a poster of anything you wish using clip art and a graphic drawn in Paint (using the steps above). The poster must include some text.

Make sure that the poster fits on one page. This can be checked using Print Preview.

Print out the poster and save the document to your floppy disk with the name EXER3.
