Your teacher has shown you some of the basic commands of Logo. These include FD, PU, setpencolor and repeat. With these commands it is possible to create some interesting patterns and shapes.

For this activity you will be required to draw a 6, 12, 13, 50 and 100 sided polygon with sides of 10 and angle is equal to 360 / number of sides. Make note of what you witness as you increase the number of sides of the shape.

The second part of this activity is to experiment with the repeat command to discover a simple formula for creating a six sided star. Eg

Using the star shape or any polygon put a repeat command within another repeat command to create a pattern. e.g

repeat 4 [repeat 5 [….] …………… ]

Try multiple repeats and colour changes to see what you can create.
