Background

Over the last century the development of computers and robotics has increased at incredible rates. Much of this development has been attributed to children reading science fiction stories - growing into to adults who want to see what they have read. One of the most famous science fiction authors was Isaac Asimov. His contribution to the development of the modern robot exceeds his "author" status. One of his most famous contribution was the Three Laws of Robotics.

  11. In your own words, discuss your beliefs on robots; do you believe that they will take over the world or will they integrate perfectly into our future society?
  12. Design your own robot and print out a copy to hand in with your answers.
