The Water Cycle
I will be using this clipart with a Year 3 class that I teach technology classes to for a half hour a week. This term their classroom teacher is doing a unit on Water, so to incorporate computer skills, the students will be creating their own graphic of the water cycle. They will be using Microsoft Image Composer. As well as inserting the graphics & positioning them, they will also be resizing, arranging and rotating them. For students who demonstrate more advanced skills, they will be able to personalise &/or animate their graphic using the gif animator that is part of this program. This is the first time that these students have done any computer graphics, thus the very structured approach. The finished product will be published on our school intranet.
