Graphing Statistical Data Using Compute-a-Graph

Compute-a-Graph is a statistical graphing program which is extremely simple and easy to use. Follow the procedure below.

Step 1

Open Compute-a-Graph

Where can I find Compute-A-Graph?

 

Step 2

Select the desired number of rows.

eg. 6 rows

Step 3

At the top of the screen you will see a large space. Write the title of the graph here.

eg. Favourite colours

Step 4

The spaces below the table are organised in pairs. You will notice that the top pair of spaces are slightly separated from the rest. Write the headings of each category here.

Step 5

The remaining spaces should be filled with each category and its corresponding frequency.

Step 6

On the left of the screen you will see a column which lets the user choose the type of graph. Select the desired graph.
