How To Use Compute-a-Graph

The basic features of Compute-a-Graph have been discussed previously. This page deals with some of the more advanced features.

Changing the colours of the categories.

Select Edit Colours from the Edit menu.

On the screen which appears (shown below) select a colour from the right hand column and then click on the target in left hand column.

 

Creating Picture Graphs.

To create a picture graph select the pictogram icon after all the data has been entered.

This will give a blank graph. On the right hand side of the screen there will be a column which contains a series of icons. Click on any of these icons to make it the graphs pictogram.

More pictogram icons are available by clicking on the down arrow.

You can have two or more different pictograms appearing on the same graph by choosing the icon shown below.

Then choose a row using the mouse, and finally select the new icon as shown below.

Editing the Picture Graph Icons

From the edit menu select Edit Pictures. The picture editor should appear.

Select the picture you wish to edit from the right hand column. The large square will contain an enlarged picture. This picture can have its individual pixels altered and later saved to create a new picture.
