How to use Microsoft Publisher

Publisher uses frames to contain the data to be presented. The user initially chooses a tool from the toolbar and draws a frame with the mouse to contain the information. The tool is chosen to match the type of data.
eg. A text tool draws a frame to contain text.

The advantage of this system of frames is that they can easily be moved about the page using the mouse. This gives the user a lot of freedom in the setout of their document.

How to save a Publisher document as a web site

Any page created on Microsoft Publisher can be saved as a web page. This means that all the necessary HTML is automatically created for you. It is quite easy to do, simply select Create Web Site from Current Publication from the file menu.

Selecting this will even give the user the option of using a Publisher Wizard to assist.

When two or more pages are saved in this manner they can be linked using hyperlinks, thus creating a web site.
