Presenting Data As A Publisher Document

Microsoft Publisher allows the user the incorporate text, pictures, tables and graphs into and integrated document. Some useful tips can be seen below.

Where can I find Microsoft Publisher?

When you start Publisher you have the choice of page formats. In most situations it is best to choose a blank page.

In Publisher you use the mouse to drag open a frame for each piece of text, word-art, diagram, chart, table or clip art you wish to add to your page.

Start by clicking the appropriate tool. Use the mouse to then drag open a frame. Inside this frame you can add the desired information.

Information can be added to a page in Microsoft Publisher the same way as it is added to a Microsoft Word document.
you can simply have the students type it in.
If you have researched your information on the internet the students will be able to copy and paste the text (or picture, graph, etc) directly from the webpage to the document. This should also be possible for information researched on a CD-ROM.
You can also import text from elsewhere. eg text saved on a floppy disk.
