Researching Facts On A Topic

Follow the procedure below. Use the links to see the " how to's", view any work samples or for more information.

Step 1

After choosing the topic, brainstorm some facts or areas you want the students to research.
eg. Number - History of Numeration
        (egyptian, roman, mayan, etc.)

Other examples of topics you may want to research

Step 2

Think about the logistics.

Do you want the students to work in groups? If so, how big?
Will the research be carried out in class time or free time?
What are you going to do with the results? How will you present them?

Step 3

Decide where you want the students to research. You can have the students research using a CD-ROM or using the INTERNET.
