Queries Based on Fields  (With thanks to jodstar for the technique.)

Using this approach you can create a separate field containing the result of your calculation. This has application when you want data to be automatically updated to a Form.

STEP 1    Right-click in an empty Field cell and select the Build... wizard from the menu.

STEP 2    Use the Expression window to build your expression (calculation).

STEP 3    Run your Query.

You should see a new field containing the results of your calculation ...
