The Black Swan
(Cygnus atratus)

Description 
It is totally black, except for the white tips on its wing and its 
red bill. It has a long neck and webbed feet. 

Voice
It's normal call sounds like a bugle. Sometimes it sounds like a didgeridoo.

Food
It eats water plants, small fish and shellfish.

Behaviour
Quiet most of the time, but when it comes to sharing food, it can be aggressive.

Habitat
It can be found on or near large freshwater or saltwater lakes or ponds in parks.

Nests
It builds its nest with sticks, reeds and grass, on the ground or in shallow water.
