Students use their number sense to refine their ability to estimate, calculate and present....

STUDENT TASKS
Open the Area template. Choose a stamp and estimate how many would fit into the small square. 
Type in your estimate. Stamp, check and then type in the correct amount. 
Use the rectangle tool to make a perfect medium-sized square in the middle box along the top and a perfect large square in the last box.
Repeat what you did (estimate and then check) with the small square.
Use the oval tool to make a small circle in the bottom left hand box, a medium-sized circle in the middle box and a large circle in the last box.
Either type, or copy and paste the words “I estimated” and “I counted” below each circle.
Repeat what you did with the squares.
