KEY IDEAS
Society and Environment
Students use a range of resources and technologies to gather and present information. They develop mapping and graphing skills to represent observable features in the environment.
Mathematics
Students develop their capacity to think about and describe geometricl form, using a variety of spatial attributes, in more abstract and precise formulations.

STUDENT TASKS
Open the blank Australian map template. Use the paint can and colour each state a different colour.
Use the typewriter tool to type in the name of each state and the capital city of South Australia. Use your atlas to check the spelling. Add extra features, such as capital cities, if you have time.  A compass rose and a key or legend may also be added.
