In their daily activities children construct meaning form operations with numbers. They explore ways of deconstructing and combining numbers that represent collections of objects.

Children generate and explore a variety of computational strategies to use numbers in daily activities when they need to quantify

STUDENT TASKS
Put six dice on the side of the grid using the wacky brush tool. 
Stamp sea creatures in the middle of the grid to match the numbers on the dice.
Put the matching number on the other side of the grid using the alphabet text
Use the text from keyboard tool to write your name.
