This is when we were pirates and we went to a Pirate Show. Tess, Matthew and I dressed up and had our photo taken.  We watched a show called “A Man whose Mother was a Pirate” and I really enjoyed it.  We went into town on the school bus to see the puppet show.

 

The name of my puppet was Spring Man.  I made him out of wire and sticks.  First I made two loops, one big one and one small one, then I wrapped wire around a pencil and took it off the pencil and then I made legs and I got a stick and twirled it around the stick so it would stay there.  For the body I got two corks and wrapped red wool around very tight and I got wire made it into bendy rope and left a little bit for feet.  I got a permanent text and drew a mouth  and then I got two googly eyes and stuck them on.

In Maths I learnt how to measure angles with the angle ruler and add the measurements all up.  It made a really high number.  I used a calculator to add all the numbers up.  It was easy to use the calculator and I liked using it.
