What do you know about South Australia's birds?
Do you know what they look like, where they live, what they eat and what
their nests look like? In this assignment you will be finding out some
interesting things about a few of our local birds by looking at some web
sites and you will be presenting what you have learnt using Microsoft Publisher.

In this assignment you
will be able to
-
choose one of six South
Australian birds to research on the web
-
copy and paste notes about
your bird into a data collection grid
-
use your notes to prepare
an illustrated fact sheet about your bird that another student can read
and understand.
-
complete a self-assessment
sheet to help you reflect on what you have learnt.

Print the activities list

you complete and can understand how your teacher will mark your work.

The data collection sheet and the bird fact
sheet will form part of your assessment. When you have finished these,
visit the Evaluation Page, for the self-assessment
activity.

The final task in your learning is to visit
the Conclusion Page, where you'll find some
suggestions for other learning activities you could do.
