This test would be completed orally and it is expected that many students would NOT do well in the first instance. They would need to be prepared for 'failure'. Were the test repeated at the end of the unit we could anticipate and predict statistical improvement in correct answers. The final question is more indicative of the thinking encouraged in the unit rather than the basic vocab and fact questions also included. |
