My Top Ten

Updated January 2006

UPDATE: The old list is below but somewhat out of date - try these new ones
- a couple of glitches in old ones too

blockcad
http://web.telia.com/~u16122508/proglego.htm
Still very reliable and loads of fun - virtual lego blocks - great for looking at perspective in diagrams and free to download
That COW!
http://www.fjallfil.com/english/
The cow - one of my favourites - educational merit somewhat limited but can be integrated for the sake of the fun and the creativity it generates and for the skills in developing routines - also worth looking at perspective in art forms.
Updates with old top ten: backflip has a few problems particularly with the shortcut bar with the 'Active X Control' blocking the fast backflip button - I have since been using 'blinklist' as a temporary measure which seems to be working ok. I will try to update this collection soon.
1 http://www.irfanview.com/   This is a great image making package that is free and will convert all the nice camera jpg files to bmp for kidpix in a batch conversion or rename them OR do an instant slideshow!
