Basic algorithm and programming tasks have
been developed to assess your understanding of event
driven programming.
Exercise One Tests For:
Ability to identify components of event driven
programs.
Duration 20 minutes.
View the introduction to the ITS OOPS program. After
you have done this, take the file available here, load it onto your own
drive, and complete the missing frame, so that introduction is identical
to the original and complete.
Exercise Two Tests For:
Understanding of steps / stages in using object based programs.
Duration 15 minutes.
Using Word to prepare a report, detail in writing the
steps taken to complete the missing frame. You may use splash screens if
you wish to illustrate the steps involved, but you must also provide
written explanations of what steps you took, and how you determined
these steps were necessary.
Exercise Three Tests For:
Competency in Object Orientated Programming Processes
Duration 35 minutes
Complete an introduction to your project's game using
KNP and developing a minimum of 5 frames and a maximum of 10 frames.
Your introduction should include text, sound and graphics. Your design
should relate to the themes used in your project. When you have
completed this, detail in writing, all steps used in creating your
introduction. Your report should be prepared using Word. You may use
splash screens if you wish to illustrate the steps involved, but you
must also provide written explanations
