Association for Children with a Disability The Association for Children with a Disability exists to assist families of children with a disability through the provision of information, support and advocacy. Disability Information Victoria This service, funded by the Department of Human Services, is operated by Vision Australia Foundation in partnership with the Association for Children with a Disability and KnowledgeWorks. The Disability Rights section of the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission's site provides information on current projects and activities, as well as links to community and industry organisations, State and Territory anti-discrimination bodies, international organisations and discussion groups. The Gold Medal Disability Access Strategy A Commonwealth Government initiative aimed at raising awareness in the business community about the need to improve access for people with disabilities in four key areas - employment, premises, tourism and transport. Opening All Options: Resource for Students with Learning Disabilities in Tertiary Education Opening all Options was developed as a NSW Regional Disability Liaison Office initiative. The site provides a comprehensive, accessible resource containing information currently available on Learning Disabilities, relevant to the needs of the Education sector. Universities Disabilities Co-operative Project (NSW) This web site provides information on the Co-op which was set up to provide assistance to universities in supporting their students with disabilities. International Day of Disabled Persons The United Nations observes annually, on December 3, the International Day of Disabled Persons.

The Australia Indonesia Business Council (AIBC) Gateway to Australia's leading bilateral business organisation serving Australia and Indonesia. This site contains details of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Centre's objectives, programs, activities and publications and links to other sites of interest. Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) ACIAR is an Australian Government authority that operates within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Australian Pacific Economic Cooperation Committee (AUSPECC) The site, hosted by the Australian National University, informs about the role of AUSPECC in Australia and the Asia Pacific Region. The official website for the Commonwealth Secretariat in London, the principal organisation of the Commonwealth, together with its sister organisations, the Commonwealth Foundation and the Commonwealth of Learning (in Canada), related resources, activities and program information is also available about these organisations. The National Bandwidth Inquiry is a major Commonwealth Government study into the likely availability and price of bandwidth in Australia over the next five years. Putting Australia on the New Silk Road The 'New Silk Road' project, undertaken by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, seeks to identify elements of a successful international online trading environment. The Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies The Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies (RSPAS), based at the Australian National University, is a centre for research and postgraduate training on the Asia-Pacific region.
