Read through ALL of the information found here and complete ALL activities.

Important Instructions: For this activity, you need to create or download and save ALL files into a new folder called Integrate Commercial Packages.

Compressing and Decompressing Files

Once all activities above are completed, "zip" your Integrate Commercial Packages folder and email the zip file to your teacher for assessment.

HINT: Use Windows Help (Start > Help and Support) to find out how to "zip" a folder

Saving files in different formats

Using Save As... and choosing a document type allows you to change the format of the file you are trying to save. Read more about this here and complete Activity 2.

When done, complete the online quiz (Activity 3).

You need to understand the difference between different file formats.

  • Read through the information found here.
  • Complete this online quiz
    • Print the screen when completed
    • Paste the image into Paint
    • Crop any unneccessary edges, etc
    • Save the file as answers.bmp
    • Save As ... answers.jpg
    • Zip both files into a zipped folder called Answers
    • Email the zipped folder to your teacher for assessment.
