We are students from Mundulla Primary School. We are in a small group of Year 2,3,4 's for Reading and Maths (Our usual classes are R-2 and 3/4) Our group has 15 students in it. Mundulla School has 65 students and we are 10 km from Bordertown near the border with Victoria. Most of us live on farms and travel to school by bus, 2 live in the town ( 150 people in it! ) and 4 live on small amounts of land near the town. We have been reading Aussie Bites and all have our favourites but have decided on Fort Island and Crackle for this activity. We chose these 2 because more people have read them and enjoyed them in our group. We hope we'll enjoy the activities you have worked out for us Thanks for doing that. We enjoyed rapping about Tashi so much last term that we, and our teacher, Mrs Brown, decided to do it all again. So this is our 2nd book rap. We are in Year 2 and we had some big discussions about which book/s to rap about. Mrs Gough, our teacher-librarian, made the decision for us when we couldn't decide on just one to rap about. We are going to rap with "Whoppers". We love the Aussie Bites books. They're really funny. There are 11 of us and we are very clever. We have just over 200 students in our school, from Kindergarten to Year 6. We like to play running games and we like to read, especially funny books. We really like the Tashi books. We have chosen to rap with "Crackle"
Hi everybody! We are 8 children from the Grade 3/4 at Clarendon Vale Primary School. Our names are:- Jonathon, Blair, Raeden, Natalie, Nathan, Cianna, Tim, andAndrew. We have chosen to read Hello World, it's me because it has just come into our library and we like the way it is written. Clarendon Vale is about 15 mins east of Hobart on the sunny Eastern Shore. Our suburb is surrounded by paddocks and in the high parts you can see out to the water. We love reading. Our personal interests include playing computer games, making cubbies and riding our bikes and skateboards at the skate park. Oh yeah, we are called the Tassie Crunchies. Hi. We are the Koalas and there are four year 2/3 students in our group. Our school is called Allanson Primary School and we think it's great. Allanson is a very small country town near Collie, Western Australia, which is a coal-mining town. We have only one shop in Allanson, it is the local Deli. We all live close to the school. The book we have chosen is "The Excuse."	Hello, our group is the Brumbies. We chose this name because we have a member of our group who is made keen on horses. We are reading the book "Fort Island." Our school is named Allanson Primary School; it is a bushy school that is why we like it. We live in the hills about 50 kilometres away from the sea. Allanson is hot in summer and cold in winter. Sometimes we have ice on the grass in winter. We live in Western Australia about 180km south from our capital city Perth.

Our school is called Allanson Primary. It is a small friendly school of 120 students. Our school is known as the little bush school. In our class we have 25 students with a bank of 6 computers. Allanson is a sporty school we play hockey, soccer, cross country running and athletics. Our school uniform is green and white and our school creed is Care, Learn, Achieve. The book we will use for the Book Rap is Monkey Trix.

Hi! We are the Chisholm Chocolate Rappers. We are class 3B from Chisholm Primary School in the A.C.T. We are in the southern part of Canberra, in the Tuggeranong Valley. The book we are reading is 'Sebby, Stee, the Garbos and Me' by Jane Godwin. We are looking forward to being part of the Aussie Bites Book Rap.	We have a Readers' Club that meets every Tuesday in our Library. We would like to join the Book Rap as we all enjoy Aussie Bites Books. Our first meeting will be next Tuesday and we will send more details of the members of our group then. Our school is All Saints' College Junior School, an Anglican School in Bullcreek Western Australia.
We are a group of Year 1/2 students from Marsfield in NSW - that's in Sydney - and we go to school at St Anthony's. There are two different grades in our classroom but we all learn the same things. We just love Aussie Bites books (and Aussie Nibbles too). We have chosen to rap with "Hurry up Alice". Our teacher, Mrs Irons has never done a book rap before but we watched the Year 2 class at school do the Tashi Rap and we wanted to be in on the fun too! Mrs Gough, our teacher-librarian, is helping us with this rap. There are 25 children in our class, 14 students are in Year 2 and there are 5 girls and 4 boys. The rest are Year 1's. There are 29 students in our class. Our teacher's name is Mrs DeGraaff. Our teacher helps us with all our work. We are learning Indonesian language and studying about all the other Asian countries. Some of the boys are in the school Rugby Union team. We learn all about music and musical instuments. One of them is called a merimba.
Hello, our group is called the Sharks. We have chosen Australian animal names for our groups because we are reading Aussie books. We have four year 2/3 students in our group. We live in Allanson Primary School which is a small bush school. We only have six classes in our school including the pre-primary. The shops are in Collie which is 8km away. Collie is about 180 km south of Perth which is the capital of Western Australia. Our book is called "Whoppers."	Hi, I'm Kim from Barham Primary School in Barham NSW. Barham is on the Murray River between the towns Echuca and Swan Hill. It is a very pretty town with red gum forests nearby. In summer it can be very hot but our winters can be quite pleasant. Hi. We have chosen the book "The Too Tight Tutu." Our teacher has put all girls in our group because the boys would not be happy reading a girls book. Our group is called the Rainbow Snakes. We are in year 2/3 and our school is Allanson Primary school. We have a lot of bush around out school and there are only six classrooms in our school. Close by we have an old mine called Black Diamond which is full of water as well as a dam. These are great places to go for a picnic. The closest town is Collie where the shops are. It is about 8 kilometres away. It is very cold here in winter but it we are used to the cold as some people only wear a T - shirt even in cold weather.	We are the Panda Bears We are reading No time for Grubbs! There are 3 people in our group Sam, Rennie and Becky (a girl) We are really interested about this book. Becky likes reading mysteries like Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys. I have a sister and a brother and two pets I have blue eyes and freckles. Sam is really interested in the book. Rennie has a brother called Michael. He is in the same class.
We are the Lollypops, The people in our group are Nathan, Tiffeny, Pheonix and Juanita. We are reading Too Much To Ask For. We are at Colonel Light Gardens P.S, in Adelaide, South Australia. Nathan is 11 years old and likes riding his scooter. Tiffeny is 9 years old and she likes riding horses. Pheonix is 9 years old and he likes the Playstation 2. Juanita is 9 years old and likes animals.	We are children in Area 11, Year 4 at Rostrata Primary School. Our school is in a suburb of Perth in Western Australia called Willetton. Our school is really big, 750 students. At Rostrata we love to read and do fun activities like learning instruments and problem solving. We haven't read may of the Aussie bites yet but we are really looking forward to joining your rap and reading more. We hope we're not too late.

We have two big shopping centres; Leeming is south of the river.I t is a peaceful nice place, Leeming is close to Fremantle. There are seven people in our group. Leeming is in WA. Our school has a canteen that sells great food. The shopping centers have really nice food too. We have recreation centre with a swimming pool. Our teacher is Mrs Wright. Some parts of Leeming are new,	We are group M6 SN. We got our name from the book that we are reading. It is called Snap, by Margaret Clark. We live in Leeming, it has lots of friendly people. There are four schools in Leeming. Leeming is an excellent place, it is beautiful. There are some busy streets though. Leeming is in WA. There are 7 people in our group.

The book we want to rap about is Whoppers written by Moya Simons because it looks interesting. Nicki does dancing, Heather does drama and Nicole plays tennis. All us girls also enjoy swimming and sewing. Luke plays basketball, Michael pl ays Australian rules football and George plays soccer. All of us boys like playing Game boy. We have reading two of them at the moment [one chapter each so far.]. We voted on which we wanted and the kids decided both!! So poor Mrs Marrion has to read two at the same time!!.
