Create a l-o-n-g tale to share with us on
Read Around Australia
Day on August 25.

We have started the story for you
- all you have to do is finish it.

Contact another class from the list below
and decide which story starter appeals the most. Then take turns to add to the story,
building it into a l-o-n-g tale.

If you send us a copy of each new part,
we will publish it here so others can read along too.

I realised I was lost, scared and alone.
My heart was pounding and it was hard to breathe.
How had I got myself into his mess?

The dragon came roaring out of his cave.
He was mean and hungry and angry.
He was looking for lunch.

The little rabbit twitched his nose.
What was that smell?

The egg cracked open. Two long webbed feet
pushed the two pieces apart.

It was time. It was our turn next. No more time to practice,
No more time for nerves.
We took a deep breath and stepped out into the spot light.
