The Book of Challenges has a lot of things for kids and adults to do during the school holidays or at any other time.  This book includes physical challenges, challenges with animals, environmental care, scientific challenges, the arts, homemade adventures and useful organisations.

The challenges are rated by a WOW factor.......the better the challenge, the bigger the WOW!

Some of the activities listed in this book are: caving, hang-gliding, snow survival, martial arts, pistol shooting, sailing, circus skills, horse riding, Pegasus (Riding for the Disabled Association), bird watching, drawing, sculpture, painting, photography, singing, creative graffiti and breaking a record, plus lots, lots more!

Challenges are discussed and you are shown how to find the right challenge for you, what it involves and what you have to do to become involved.  This book also tells you the costs for each person so that you know if you can afford to do it or not.  Age limits and danger levels are also shown for each activity.

This book also lists  useful organisations like the scouts, venturers, police youth clubs and outward bound.

If you are bored during the holidays then this book is just the perfect book for you.
