Carol the camel is sick to death of being told she has bad breath. What’s more, this weekend her owner, Boris Boola has gone missing (at least that’s what she thinks!). When she hears some of the other humans from the Animal Haven talking about a dental cart in town she decides to set off in search of both her owner and the dental cart. What follows is absolute chaos!

What I liked about this book is that when the author writes descriptions of scenes, you can actually picture the scene in your head. The author also has the quality in the way she tells the story so it leaves the reader wanting to read more when it’s time to go to bed!

This book is really fun to read but some sections are too long. For example it actually tells the reader what the characters were eating.

I would recommend this book to girls within the age group of 8 - 10 years with a great interest in animals. Even though this book has a lot of exciting adventures, I do not think that boys would enjoy this book quite as much.

This is a fabulous book and I would give it 9-and-a-half out of 10!
