Chips is a good book.

I haven’t read the book that comes before this one called Spud. I would like to.

Chips is about one of Spud's  puppies, a half dingo pup that survived. Chips lives in a nice safe in the city with Kylie (a girl) and her mother. As a puppy Chips hears a call that makes him feel like he should be somewhere else. He runs away to find the noise and as he can’t resist his feelings. This book is about his adventure.

I understood this book and liked it and now I love puppies even more. I think lots of 7– 8 year olds love puppies and they would love this book about a puppy. Some parts were very sad, some happy. I loved the way this book was written and sometimes wouldn’t stop reading it even if dinner was ready.
