The story happened on an island where Minton and Turtle lived. Every day Minton wanted something. It would get washed up on the shore. One day Minton saw an island and said “Who do you think lives of that island over there?” and Turtle said “A monster that eats rocks?”

The rest of the story is about making a boat and exploring the island.

The story is interesting at the beginning when they get what they want from the shore. I felt good at the end because it was a happy ending.

I think the book is good for children 6 to 10 years old. I like it when the pictures help me to make the story more real. The author and illustrator worked hard to make the story interesting.
