Pole to Pole, by Pamela Freeman and Philip Blythe is a book with an interesting style.  This book is about the North and South Poles and the wildlife on them in winter and summer.

This book provides interesting information about things such as polar ice.  Even in summer, in some parts in the Arctic, the ice never melts!  You can find out about the animals that live there, how they look for food, and their habitats.

One of the most interesting things I found out while reading this book was about the migration of terns between the North and the South Poles.

The book displays each beautiful illustration by Philip Blythe across two pages, without losing any quality of information.

I would recommend this book for 8 -13 year olds because I feel that it was written at a level suitable for those ages.  It would be a good book to help with school projects, or just reading for pleasure and would be a valuable addition for any library.

I give this book 8 stars out of 10 for great illustrations and style.
