Colin, nine year old saviour of the world...but is scrambling around in the rubbish bin the way to go about it?

Colin's teacher gave him a project on recycling. He thought that it was going to be a boring project until he realised the importance of recycling. Colin thought Mother Nature would die unless we do something about it. So that's what Colin did. He tries to get his family involved with recycling. But he has one big problem, his family.

Well a hang gliding mum, a caloric counting sister and a lawn mower building dad won't be much help. He tries everything till he almost gives up, then came the protest about closing down the local recycling plant. Maybe his mum was a help by accidentally crashing her hang glider, which many believed was for the protest. Unfortunately it nearly killed her. However, after this Colin's family began to recycle and do their part in saving the world.

This story proves that if you put your mind to something you can achieve anything, well almost.

I would recommend Recycled for younger readers because it is a very easy read. The reader would have no real difficulty understanding the plot and it has a good moral. I found that the story kept me reading to see what the climax was. Overall  5.5 out of ten.
