 This book is about 3 animals who love surfing - Nico, Mikey and Claudia. They live on a planet called Ithaca, really like Earth. One day an alien named Icon appears. Icon loves surfing as well. Icon's brother Vidor has taken over the planet Durillium. While everyone is asleep, Icon disappears back to Durillium and is locked up in the Underworld. Nico, Mikey and Claudia go to Durillium to save Icon, but they get trapped in the Underworld and end up in a maze with a giant chicken.

This book is half comic and half words. The characters were really good and the story was very funny. I liked the different planets where the humans had animal heads.

It was very funny. The narrator wouldn’t stop talking about himself and in the end, he made up an ending that he thought was good. He said that if you do not like my ending, here is another one. There is a lot of completely unbelievable stuff in it. It is really really good.

The blurb really appealed to me. There is a lot of stuff that he said like, no animals were hurt during the making of this book. He said that sixteen dolphins died in the making of this book, they fell out of the trees! In the back there is a guide to the language of m.i.t. He is a funny character.

I think this book would be for 9 to 11 year olds. It is mostly comics so it was quick to read. It has fabulous pictures. It only took me one and a half hours to read.

I would rate this as very, very, very, very good. 10 out of 10.
