 This book has been reviewed by an avid lover of the Chickpea book by the same author. This book continues on from Chickpea. and it is a family story suitable for children of all ages. I loved it because everyone comes together to help and everyone becomes friends. 

The book is fantastic because of all the incidents that happen--selling chickens at the market, Velvet the cat running away, understanding about deaf people, people caring about what happens to animals.

My teacher-librarian says this book is also a great read aloud especially in the junior grades. Any child who loves animal stories and happy families will love this
one.
