Adults Only is a book about a boy called Jake, who lives on a remote island near mainland Australia. His parents wanted to have an adults only motel, but then they got Jake. So one day, Jake sends some emails to his friends and by accident, some reporters get the mail…

I thought Adults Only was very good with a bit of mystery towards the ending. This book would be excellent for about 10 years old to 12 years old.

Morris Gleitzman has done a very good job at writing this story.  I have read some other books by him but this was the best.  He wrote it as if he was a kid.  Adults Only is set on an island.  The main character, Jake, has no friends his own age.  He is so desperate that he makes up a friend called Crusher who is a teddy bear.  Jake talks to the bear even though it does not reply to him.

I loved the book as I said it was like no book I had read before.  I would definitely give it a 10 out of 10.
