Ever since Lissa’s father was sent to jail her world has turned upside down. She went from a rich upper class girl to a poor under achiever. Nobody at school liked her any more; everybody thought she was a loser. Then after 3 years her father is let out of jail and the taunts get worse. Then one day a new girl arrives, her name is Diane Connel and Lissa feels that Diane understands her. Soon Lissa’s spirits are lifted when Diane decides to make Lissa her new best friend.  Everything is good until one day they get in big trouble what will happen next?

Bad Company is a moving story about one girl’s strengths and weaknesses and how she is lead to believe things that are untrue but they don’t seem that way to her. I give it a 7/10; it’s easy to read and it’s an enjoyable but touching novel.
