From my point of view, I thought that book was fantastic. It was good how J.A. Mawter didn’t make each story too long and boring. I thought that it was funny but in the same time, very disgusting and perverted. The stories in the book were very realistic. I think that the things that happen to the people in the book, happens to regular kids sometimes. Farting, the hate for their teacher, a secret crush, playing tricks on someone, doing dares, trying to impress someone and embarrassment, are things that happen in everyday life as a kid. That’s what made the book very true and understandable. All through the book as I was reading it, I was thinking ‘yes, very true,’ and ‘oh, don’t do that’ as each story somehow turned a twist. I had a fun time and a good laugh while reading the book. The language was very precise. I thought it was good how the style that the stories were written in were suitable for kids. The language and the way that the children in the stories talked could associate to how normal kids talked and they would understand the language as if they were saying it themselves. My favourite story in the book was the story titled, Pucker Up. I think that I could relate to that story/situation the best. I thought the illustrations were very cute, nice, pretty and looked like by real kids. I could identify which character was which in the pictures automatically as I read the story. This book is funny, comical and disgusting, the qualities kids would look for in the story. (I would recommend to readers from 9 to 14.). This book would be great to read aloud to a class because it is interesting and wouldn’t bore them Mymy, aged 13, Adelaide, South
