The growing availability of computers and Internet access in
classrooms coupled with the current trend towards developing ICT skills in our
students and ourselves has resulted in many teachers who are keen to use the
Internet as a teaching/learning tool.
Real world applications are growing daily and students need to be skilled
Internet users when they leave school.
We suddenly have more information
available to us than ever before and there are numerous successful ways and
means of
incorporating the new technology in classrooms but the use of
information available via the Internet has some
potential pitfalls for both teachers and students. The biggest problem is the 'deluge of information'
