there. Many web sites are designed for commercial purposes
so their aim is
to
influence and sell.
Academic
research assignments require
information from reliable
sources along with
an
appropriate
bibliography so students also
need to evaluate sites for
authority, currency and relevancy.

help you and your students develop these skills and to be able to find
information efficiently and effectively, in fact to become 'information
literate'.
