Groups will decide on the planet they would like to research. Make sure you are not researching the same planet as another group. Once this is decided you must decide on the job each of you would like to tackle. There are three job choices
To complete this process you are encouraged to follow these steps.
1. Gathering information
Brainstorm in your group to find out what you already know.
What do you need to find out?
Make a list of questions. The above links to your job description will help you develop questions.
Find the resources which will provide answers to your questions.
Decide how you will present the information.
2. Organising information
Use the matrixes to make sure you have collected all the necessary information on the planets and space travel. Print them out and fill in the information. You will share information with other team members to help them with their design task
Organise graphics, pictures and labelled diagrams to support your information
3. Presenting Information
Consider that your audience is tourists.
What would make a tourist interested in your planet?
Do you have colour, pictures and the appropriate text to draw their attention?
Do you have accurate information?
Do you have a mixture of pictures and information?
Have you covered all the items in the task?
Have you thought about the solutions to the problems of transportation, accommodation and protection.
