Questions Raised	Able to understand the topic. Able to discuss own family and compare other families.	Able to ask questions about families to aid research. There's an ability to discuss the topic using examples or evidence.	Able to develop key questions about the topic. Research was connected to previous related knowledge. An easy use of evidence shows a sound understanding.
Research Process	Some relevant information gathered and used.	Able to gather and sort relevant information.	Able to use research questions to locate, synthesis and evaluate important information.
Learning Outcome	Participated in group talk in a small way. No thoughts contributed to family mural or discussions.	Participated in group talk and wall mural. Beginning to form ability to discuss important issues.	Good ability to share ideas with class. Able to clearly identify issues discussed and participate in all activities.
