In an effort to get students to do the right thing and put litter in a bin the SRC has asked you to improve the design of Rubbish Bins.  See LitterCam

PLANNING
Choose a design partner.  This is an urgent issue for SRC, try to complete the task in 3 - 4 lessons. 

Follow these steps:

STEP 1. Read this page.
STEP 2. View Pictures of Rubbish Bins, fill out Research Guide.
STEP 3. Design a 3D model of a rubbish bin, use Blockcad.
STEP 4. See teacher notes         BlockCad download. 
STEP 5. Use camera tool in Blockcad, save 5 images of your model.
Use the  rotation tools to capture 5 different viewing angles include a birds- eye view. Save images carefully.

STEP 6 Publish your design in PowerPoint. (View Example)

  Use  2-4 slides. 
  Insert your saved BlockCad images onto the slides. 
  Communicate your design ideas  using headings, labels and short descriptions.    
  Show different views of your design, 
  Tell why  your design will get more students using rubbish bins.  
  Show how your rubbish bin design suits a school environment.
