information on the Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC). It
consists of subject-specific clearinghouses, and support components. Support
comes from the U. S. Department of Education's Office of Educational Research

Intel's
The Journey Inside: The Computer. This free kit is written
for grades 5-9. The kit consists of a 300 page, six module teacher's guide
with teacher background information, lesson plans, student handouts and
overheads. It also contains a six-part video, and hands on chip-kit. Send
a letter on school letterhead to Intel, P.O. Box 7620, Mount Prospect,
IL 60056-9960 with information on what you teach with a return address

excellent magazine for educational applications of the WWW is Classroom
Connect by Wentworth Worldwide Media, Inc., Lancaster, PA. For
one free copy call 1-800-638-1639. The magazine costs $39.95 for
a year's subscription.

is a great e-magazine for educational technology by Jamie McKenzie: From
Now On - The Educational Technology Journal. You can view this
magazine at www.fromnowon.org.
