Before starting a porject, its a good idea to check out this site. It gives a rough idea of school terms and holidays in different countries.

OzProjects
As the name suggests, this is an Australian site that promotes interesting online projects from around the world.
Current offerings include 'Junk to Gems' using recycled materials to make works of art, and Bunyip, an Early years project.

Montage Plus
This British site has links to loads of projects suitable for Early years through to Secondary schools.

This site has a long listing of projects suitable for Reception through to Secondary Education

A global internet classroom for K-12 students. Join one of the many proejcts available. For example "Flat Stanley' (Send a flat Stanley to another school where the class will complete a journal of his adventures) or The Invesitagors (current investigation involves comparing animals from your local environment).

Runs twice a year in March and August.
